Welcome to the first in a series of posts where I will highlight a specific technique I have learned and instruct you on how to to the same yourself. This first one is on pitch-bending tape recorders. There a couple ways to go about this, but i’m just going to outline my preferred method here. doctor-rhythm boss 220 as i prefer to call it is my newest love!
its sweet, mini and according to bitcrusher kind of nice to circuit bend.
so here starts my venture.

the picture above is taken from bitcrusher site, where they have developed this outstanding way to bend the dr-220.

others have done it as well, but they dont offer guides on it. check for example this video of a bended dr-220.
