face projector

the face projector is based around this sketch:

it consist of:

a plate to frame peoples faces
a camera to record these faces in video loops when you press a button.
some software to process these video clips and play them in such a way that the newest recorded clip apear most frequent
a projector
a gigantic (compared to normal sculpted face to project on.

the software to record video clips and place them, named in sequence, in a data folder. is based around processing.org even though i would have liked it to be based around openFrameworks, but since i dont know anything in of i choose processing
the software to play back the video clips is done in python used to control vlc media player.

the head and plate is made by Kenneth who is a construction god from mars (see proof)
and the head will be constructed using cardboard layers in vertical and horizontal planes cut so they fit together. and lastly they will be equipped with elastic linnen of white color with needles so the ’skin’ stick to the ’skull’
